Out of Town TV

Flavorpill, an online culture publication in NYC, partnered with Redken NYC to create a joint marketing online TV program called Out of Town. An opportunity to create buzz for both brands, the idea was adapted from Redken’s line of hair products called “Urban Experiment”. With help from Newcamp, Out of Town became a six-series TV show, starting with the selection of two people from six major cities in America using a custom CMS call-for-entries developed by Newcamp.

FGI Research.com

FGI wanted to reposition its brand as a research company keeping pace with consumers and driving deeper but faster insights in a rapidly changing world. Newcamp worked with FGI to rebrand their entire company from the ground up. The result: a beautiful, sophisticated site that sets the pace in research, taking FGI from a national to global arena.

How does ESPN acquire and retain a fan base of thousands of fantasy baseball fanatics each year? By hiring Arnold Worldwide in Boston, MA. Get a team of Creatives together and voila – you have a soap opera!

InStyle Trendsetters

We worked with InStyle Magazine, alongside Newcamp client FGI Research to design and produce the brand look and feel for a custom research gateway called Trendsetters. We collaborated with the InStyle Brand Marketing department to showcase new trends.

Full Frame Documentary Film Festival

Full Frame, an independent documentary Film Association in Durham, North Carolina, invites the world to attend their annual film festival. At agency McKinney-Silver, we decided to burn down the current website for 3 days, creating a buzz to promote the festival. We named it, aptly, the world's first internet fire.

OneMBA

Newcamp redesigned and rebranded the global OneMBA program for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, taking the brand from status quo to a new look that brought the global executive experience to life. Integrated campaign included print and banner campaigns to round out the marketing mix.

3:10 to YUMA

Lions Gate Films were nominated for best score at both the Golden Globes and the Academy Awards. The film company wanted to promote the music score and feature a video of the producer for the film 3:10 to Yuma. Newcamp was awarded the opportunity to create a QuickTime movie trailer to run a few months before the award ceremonies.

Target Redcard

In-store kiosk targeted to top-tier card holders. The kiosk was a touchscreen interactive unit advertising the benefits of Redcard ownership, along with a chance to apply in the store. Tim McCracken designed the interface and animated the surroundings for then employer Catalyst Studios in Minneapolis, MN

Riesen

SRG Advertising in Boulder awarded Newcamp the production of a microsite for their clients, the European chocolate brand Riesen. Although it made us constantly hungry while we worked on it, we enjoyed the project. The site was part of an offline integrated campaign produced by SRG. Although the site started as a marketing campaign, it was so well-received that it evolved into the U.S Brand site.

Catalyst Studios in Minneapolis, MN needed a new website overhaul. As the Catalyst Studios lead interactive designer, Tim designed and animated an elegant site utilizing Catalyst's print design identity. The design studio won six design awards for the site in 2005. See publications and awards.

Carlson Marketing Group in Minneapolis, MN wanted to distinguish their Design and Advertising Departments by creating a new brand separate from the parent company, while at the same time attracting and recruiting top-level Creatives. Tim left the meeting with a sketch of a door in an alley and a letter scribbled on it. In the dead of Minneapolis winter, Newcamp created an award-winning microsite which not only looked great, but also achieved Carlson Marketing Group's stated goals. See publications and awards.

Tift Merritt

Tift Merritt was about to release her new album. She was living in North Carolina at the time, preparing for a move to New York. Newcamp crafted a website that matched Tift's vision, ideas and artistry.

POLARIS Duel

CEO Tom Tiller of Polaris Industries took on six of his rival CEO competitors, publicly inviting them to a duel to prove that Polaris was the leader in manufacturing the best ATVs in the marketplace. The challenge was an exciting one for McKinney-Silver in Durham, NC. For his then employer, Tim McCracken co-partnered with Scott Pridgen to design the site.

Best Buy

Best Buy ran a Digital Dream Giveaway sweepstakes over a period of 3 months. Catalyst Studios in Minneapolis, MN created a microsite living on bestbuy.com that enabled customers to pick an entertainment package that best suited their lifestyle, and register to win the sweepstakes. Best Buy Marketing wanted to track the behavior of the user and get a better understanding of their customers' product interests. Tim McCracken design the website and animations.

Target: Safe City

Target Corporation hired Catalyst Studios in Minneapolis, MN to create a CD-ROM for their crime prevention program entitled Safe City. The goal was to produce a safe shopping environment for the general public around Target stores and surrounding businesses in a town or city. As lead designer, Tim produced the interactive CD-ROM which was designed to encourage investors to help fund future models.

Photobiz

Newcamp helped define the Photobiz brand and online presence, in addition to their robust shopping cart experience. We continue to serve Photobiz on a daily basis, designing and animating a wide array of photo template choices for their many customers.
